Ms. Himani Gulati, is a name to reckon with in the Indian exhibition industry. A leader in her own right, she has excelled as an entrepreneur, an editor, a philanthropist, and all other roles that have been a part of her vibrant career and life. A highly learned and erudite personality, Ms. Gulati holds a PGD in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing in UK and is an IIM-Ahmedabad alumnus.
With over 20 years of industry leadership experience in the publication & exhibition industry, Ms Gulati is well known for her stellar ideas, intrinsic motivation and excellent communication skills. She has to her credit a number of 'firsts' such as publishing the first & only handbook on advertising sources in the country, starting a magazine on LED industry etc., and has created successful brands like Mediaexpo, LEDexpo, which are now owned by Messe Frankfurt.
At present, she guides and directs her team at MEX in organising some of the best known trade shows in India including GartexTexprocess India, LED Expo Thailand and Gifts World Expo. Her leadership has paved way for MEX to enter into some key strategic alliances in India and overseas, which have added to the strengthening the show brand value and growth of the company as a whole. Ms Gulati is also the recipient of the award of 'Leading Lady in the Exhibition industry' at the Exhibition Excellence Awards in 2016. She has also been a panellist at many exhibition industry & women leadership forums.
She has propelled MEX to become one of the most prominent companies in exhibition industry & delivered the most successful shows for various verticals. With vast knowledge & exposure in all fields be it creative aspects, publishing know how, editorial, management & leadership skills, she has been instrumental in conducting a number of conferences as well involving high profile government ministries & industry stakeholders. She has been a harbinger of change in the Indian exhibition industry and has held successful shows in India and overseas. She has also setup an NGO called Ekas Mission which works for a number of social causes.
